Amounts Involved
Although the price may seem excessive, the quality of the product should be your number one concern… In the long run, it’s better to invest once rather than to repeatedly pound your head against the wall when a game lags.
Because it enhances PC performance more than any other in this price range, the cost is expensive.
Performance
Everything a gamer could ask for is included in this device… In addition, it has a 256-bit memory bus, which improves data transfer rates from the main memory to the CPU. In other words, it is faster.
Furthermore, this system is capable of running AAA titles at high settings with little to no effort. The RX 580 is a beast when compared to its performance and pricing.
It’s worth noting that gamers won’t want to overlook this high-end gaming rig.

Price Range
NVIDIA released, GeForce GTX 950 in august of 2015. MSI’s card only has a slight increase in the price range, which comes with an overclocked memory, and other fancy customizations.
This card has a highly solid and cost-effective footing and can easily be afforded by players who just need enough performance to play the world of warcraft.
Performance
For the price range, the graphics card provides 80 fps at medium and a whopping 120 fps at low in-game video settings and high screen resolution (of 1080p). Even with the game being played on high graphic settings, you can easily get around 60 fps.
The card has a video memory of 2GB, which you usually do not get around this price range.
Specifications
Although the design of the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950 is similar to the design of the GTX 960, it is much better simply due to its price-performance ratio. While GTX 960 is another very solid card you can use, the GTX 950 has the same specifications in addition to its very affordable price.
And with MSI’s additions to the card, such as the company’s signature cooling system of dual fan cooling and a base clock of 1127 MHz (slightly better than the 1024 MHz that NVIDIA offers), this graphics card may be the best one you can get to play a casual game of world of warcraft.
Drawbacks
With so many positives that come with this graphics card, there is a slight issue of the relatively less amount of CUDA cores (NVIDIA’s processing units) and texture units as compared to the others of the same series.
This directly translates to the fact that although playing world of warcraft on medium to high resolutions (low to medium video settings) would work just fine for you. It would be better if you did not run the game at ultra-resolutions even if your computer supports it.
- Low price
- Good specifications
- High fps at low/medium settings
- Cannot play the game very well at ultra- video settings.
Specifications:
- Powered by GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
- Has a 4GB GDDR5 128bit memory
- Can Support up to 8K display @60Hz
- One-click Super overclocking
Amounts Involved
It has been five years since NVIDIA’s GTX 1080 was released in October of that year. After Gigabyte’s revisions, it now sells at a higher price point than it did when it was first released, making it more expensive than a typical mid-range graphics card. This could be a decent offer, but it’s not ideal because the price keeps going up.
We’re talking about a 4GB graphics card here, however it might be as small as 2GB or even 3GB depending on the manufacturer.
Performance
Even though it costs a little more than the MSI NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950, this card is still one we’d want to include in this comparison. When playing World of Warcraft at high video settings, it achieves a frame rate per second of 80, which is slightly higher than the GeForce GTX 950’s.
So, if the resolution is high but the in-game video settings are low, the game should easily run at 120 frames per second. 1440p resolution is enough to get 60 frames per second at medium to high in-game video settings with this graphics card. In addition, the graphics card is capable of 30 frames per second at 4k.
Specifications
There are two unique 80mm cooling fan blades and semi-active fans that disperse heat from the system for greater performance in the gigabyte graphics card.
This card’s overclocking is straightforward; you don’t need extensive experience in the field to pull it off. To play World of Warcraft, you’ll need a graphics processor that can run at least at 1316 MHz base frequency and 1430 MHz boost frequency (not overclocked).
Drawbacks
Aside from the fact that there are some better graphics cards available at the same price point as this one, this graphics card has no major flaws to speak of in my opinion. They’ll be covered in more detail below.
- Good performance at high resolution
- Very good specifications for a card that is 4 years old
- Very complex cooling system for better performance
- Similar cards are available at the same price point (even less).
Specifications:
- Powered by GeForce GTX 750 Ti
- Has a 2GB GDDR5 128bit memory
- NVIDIA SHIELD Ready
- Max Monitors Supported: 3
Amounts Involved
So here we are with yet another NVIDIA-powered graphics card. For those who want to play World of Warcraft on a more casual basis, this is another low- to medium-end graphics card. As of this writing, the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti is the oldest graphics card on this list.
As with the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950, the original pricing of this card was similar to that of a midrange GPU, but when it was customised by EVGA, the price rose accordingly. The GeForce GTX 1050 Ti is a close second.
Performance
A question arises after all the hysteria around its pricing. Is it worthwhile? Is it capable of running World of Warcraft? In all honesty, the performance will be on par with that of the GeForce GTX 950 SLI/SLI-X. At low to medium in-game visual settings but at 1080p, it will play the game smoothly, but at high in-game video settings and higher resolutions, it will not be able to perform well.
Specifications
The Maxwell architecture, on which this GPU is based, is newer than the Kepler architecture. A unique collection of features distinguishes this particular GeForce GTX 750 Ti from others in its class.
It features a copper core insert and a 12 percent increase in fan size for a unique cooling system. It’s also overclocked, with a base frequency of 1176 MHZ and a boost clock of 1254 MHz. Six percent greater performance than its reference GPU can be seen in the results of a benchmark.
Drawbacks
High settings and resolutions greater than 1080p will result in subpar performance. It’s also a little more expensive than other comparable graphics cards.
- Can play World of Warcraft
- Has a really good cooling system
- Is very Quiet
- Good power consumption
- Slightly pricier than graphic cards of similar performance
- Does not support SLI
Specifications:
- Powered by GeForce RTX 2060
- Has a 6GB GDDR6 RAM
- features a hydraulic-dynamic bearing fan
- Better Ray Tracing
Price
In all likelihood, it’s more expensive than any of the other GPUs on this list However, considering its capabilities, the pricing is reasonable.
As a true gamer who understands the value of a long-term investment, this GPU is for you. Aside from the fact that it’s powerful and reliable, it’s also the last component you’ll ever buy for your system.
Performance
When compared to previous-generation GPUs, this GPU has an all-time new Turing architecture that allows for a 6x increase in performance.
Real-time Ray-tracing, on top of that, adds a level of realism and clarity to the games… Additionally, WOW works without a hitch, and the RTX 2060’s noteworthy feature is that it can handle all other games in a better setting as well.
Specifications
There are 58% more fins on this model for better heat dissipation thanks to the groundbreaking RTX platform.
In addition, a new heat spreader improves contact with the GPU, allowing heat to be transferred away from the GPU and kept at a constant temperature. A hydraulic-dynamic bearing fan improves cooling performance by circulating air around the GPU.
Drawbacks
According to the period it was launched, the graphics card is excellent. Compared to previous generation cards, it uses more power, so However, if you solely care about getting better results, then go ahead and try it.
- Supports 4 displays
- Cool and does not make noise
- Supports dual and triple SLI cards (SLI will allow the use of multiple graphic cards)
- Is old, and might lose driver support
Specifications:
- Powered by AMD Radeon RX 560

Amounts Involved
To be honest, this graphics card is arguably the best in its price range among the ones we’ve already discussed. It was launched in July 2017 with a lower-end GPU price tag. As with the other models, the MSI version has a few tweaks that raise the price a bit (albeit it’s still considered a budget graphics card)…
Performance
As previously mentioned, this card was issued in 2017 in a variety of sizes. There is also a 4GB version, but we’re talking about the 2GB model right now. How well does this card perform in World of Warcraft? Yes! It’s fantastic at what it does! At a 1920 x 1080 resolution, it can maintain a steady 90 to 100 frames per second.
You can get 60 frames per second with medium to high graphics even if you set the resolution to 1440p instead of 1080p. Isn’t it wonderful?
Specifications
A low-profile design means that the card is light and saves space, making it easy to carry. There’s also an overclocking tool included. With a factory overclock of 1300 Mhz, it’s even faster than stock.
Drawbacks
There aren’t any drawbacks to this card, to be honest. In fact, it may be the finest graphics card for World of Warcraft on this list.
- Small and Quiet

Radeon RX 500-series GPU number two holds its own against the competition. The MSI tweaks elevated the price of this GPU from an average mid-ranged card to a slightly higher one.
Due to the minor increase in gaming performance, this card is more expensive than the Radeon RX 560 (a member of the same family).
Performance
World of Warcraft performs at 120 fps at 1920 x 1080 resolution with the RX 570, making it one of the smoothest games on the market. Despite this, the game runs at roughly 80-90 fps in 1440p and 60 fps in 4k resolution (with good in-game graphics) (with similar high in-game graphics).
Specifications
With its factory-overclocked memory and classy black and white look, this card provides a lot for its pricing point. Additionally, it features MSI’s distinctive noise-canceling technology, Zero Frozr, which debuted in 2008. This card has a dual fan system with a base and boost frequency of 1168 MHz and 1268 MHz, making it one of the top options for gamers.
Drawbacks
The RX 570 ARMOR 8G OC, like the one before it, appears to have few drawbacks. So, shall we continue?
- Great World of Warcraft performance
- Amazing gaming performance in general
- Great price
- Very quiet
- None
GPU for World of Warcraft
A Buyer’s Guide
There are few rivals to World of Warcraft when it comes to popular online multiplayer games. To put it another way, it’s a huge game. Surprisingly, this is not the case for its GPU requirements.
World of Warcraft is more CPU-intensive than GPU-intensive, thus a strong CPU might be a better option than a high-end graphics card. With that said, a graphics card’s importance cannot be overstated. Here are some tips to help you choose the best graphics card for World of Warcraft.
Let’s get the basics out of the way before we get into the nitty-gritty.
What is a Graphics Card?
We’ll get into more precise terms later, but for now, let’s just explain why we’re writing this essay.
A graphics card (sometimes known as a video card) is a small piece of hardware that is installed into a computer to perform the graphical job for the processor. Graphical data is shown with enhanced clarity, colour, definition, and resolution thanks to the improved display.
It wasn’t until the introduction of graphics cards that this task could be outsourced.
Graphics cards and graphics processing units (GPUs) are often used interchangeably, however they are not the same thing. It is the graphics card’s processing chip, together with the rest of the components, that make up the GPU. NVIDIA and AMD, the two titans of computer technology, produce the vast majority of today’s graphics processing units (GPUs) (our graphic cards have these very GPUs as well).
Important Things to Understand
Difference between the integrated and dedicated graphics card
Graphics cards with integrated processing units (GPUs) share their RAM with the CPU and do not have their own processing units. In most cases, these cards come pre-installed on computers, but they aren’t powerful enough to run World of Warcraft, or any other game.
The GPU is the processing unit on a dedicated graphics card (details explained above). The VRAMs (video RAMs) on these graphics cards allow the user to perform more graphically demanding tasks, such as playing World of Warcraft.
Memory
Memory is the first spec to look at. Your game will run faster if your graphics card has more memory. If you want to play your game better, you don’t necessary need a high-end graphics card; you can obtain the same effects with a lower-end card that has less memory.
Invest in a high-quality CPU as well.
Save Some Money for the CPU
If you spend all of your money on an expensive, over-the-top graphics card, you’re not going to have a competent gaming system, as I previously stated. Invest in a long-lasting processor before making any other changes or upgrades to the system.
Consider the minimum graphic requirements for World of Warcraft
Compared to other recent games, World of Warcraft isn’t particularly resource-intensive. It does, however, have its own set of requirements. On the official Blizzard website, the minimum GPU required is an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 or an AMD Radeon RX 560. (which we have above in our list).
Is your Monitor’s resolution Enough?
High-demanding games at 1080p resolution will not be able to run smoothly on most low- and medium-end gaming graphics cards (with high in-game graphics). There are games like World of Warcraft that can be played at 4K resolution with an average frame rate of 60fps, as we previously indicated.
So, if you’re planning on playing World of Warcraft, your monitor’s resolution should be fine with the graphics cards listed above.
Can you Afford an Expensive Graphics Card?
Keep in mind that more expensive premium graphics cards aren’t always the greatest choice, just as you should while evaluating a graphic card’s RAM. Especially when it comes to World of Warcraft. All of the cards on the above list are in the cheap to mid-range pricing range and are fully compatible with the game.
Other things to consider:
Processors run at a higher clock speed (CUDA cores or Stream Processors)
Memory Transfer Rate
Power and cooling system thermal design
